This is a re-release of our 2011 Riesling from our museum cellar.
2011 was a cool and wet year - one described by many in NSW as 'challenging'. Despite significant rainfall, our Biodynamic vineyard prospered and we harvested excellent fruit late in Autumn (May 2011).
This Riesling is light and vibrant with aromas of green apple, lime and some exotic tropical citrus.
The palate is driven by linear acidity, with citrus fruits and a clean fresh finish.
Time in the cellar has added some weight and power to the wine, with hints of toast beginning to show through the bright fruit.
Drink now for freshness, or cellar for 5+ years for complexity.
